The Position
The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for collaborating with agency clients and executives to develop content for performance-driven cross channel digital marketing initiatives. You’ll need to be able to participate in client meetings, create content plans and manage multiple projects - delivering concepts and materials often under tight deadlines.

  • Create, organize and manage content development schedules
  • Conduct online research, interview key stakeholders, create organized outlines and communicate in a clear, concise manner
  • Create persuasive website content, blog articles and sales materials
  • Write press releases, client case studies and business-to-business white papers
  • Assist in responding to RFPs and writing proposals
  • Copyedit and proofread web, email, presentation and marketing materials
  • Write engaging content for AIS Media’s social media networks
  • Develop high-impact PowerPoint presentations
  • Some travel required

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple businesses & brands
  • Lead the development & execution of content strategies
  • Write, develop and syndicate social media content
  • Interview AIS Media team members and clients on key topics
  • Research & write compelling blog articles
  • Update website content via the CMS
  • Create engaging content across multiple social graphs
  • Moderate online conversations
  • Create, manage and update content for multiple client pages
  • Analyze engagement, interactions and response rates

Position Requirements
To qualify, you must demonstrate a successful marketing communications track record with referenceable work and solid experience with both traditional and digital media. Agency work experience is preferred.

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years marketing communications writing experience in a digital environment
  • Experience managing digital content (proven familiarity with core CMS functionalities)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think both strategically and creatively
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management, time management and organizational skills
  • Proven experience with social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment
  • Expertise in Wordpress, Google Analytics, and basic HTML required
